Working With Us

The Burren LIFE Project aims to develop a new model of farming for the Burren that takes into account the needs of the heritage of the Burren, but also the needs of the custodians of this heritage, the farming community.

The success of this ambitious Project will depend very much upon the level of involvement of the Burren farming community and the wider community of the Burren - without your support the Project will struggle, with it the Project will prosper.

Every single farmer / member of the wider farming community with land in, or knowledge of, the Burren has something to contribute to this Project. This may be something as simple as sharing your ideas, knowledge or experience with the BurrenLIFE Project Team. In other cases it may mean becoming one of the selected 'LIFE Farms', or even a demonstration farm. All involvement will be on a voluntary basis.

Involvement with the Project will cost you nothing but your time. However, we hope that it will benefit you, your family and your heritage for years to come.
