The View of the Partners

Teagasc

Teagasc's Chief Agricultural Officer in Clare, Mr Tom Shanahan, has stated that 'Teagasc had been hugely supportive of the work of the BurrenLIFE Project'. He has highlighted the importance of the partnership model to deliver the objectives of the Project. Teagasc 'are proud to be part of a unique project that has three partners working together for a common goal'. Teagasc will continue to play a key role in supporting the research side of the Project - research which is being undertaken not in a laboratory but in a living environment supporting a living community. Mr Shanahan stressed that 'farmers are the key to this partnership' and has called on all Burren farmers to support the Project Team.
