Project Management and Reporting Structure

This chart indicates the organisational and reporting structure of the BurrenLIFE Project

Day-to-day Management

The day-to-day management of the Project is undertaken by the Project Team as headed by Dr Brendan Dunford (Project Manager). The Project Finance and Operations Administrator works directly with NPWS (Dublin) on a daily basis. All finance and administrative issues are handled via the local Project office and NPWS (Dublin). The Project Team hold weekly team meetings and hold work review sessions on a monthly basis. To date this system has worked well. All reporting is via the PSC and the NPWS. All EC / External Monitoring Team reporting and liaison takes place via the NPWS (Dublin). Dr James Moran (Ecology/Conservation Specialist), who has been seconded to the Project from Teagasc, reports directly via Teagasc structures and liaises closely with both the Project Manager and PSC. His work adds great strength to the Project Team.
